Just because he only completed the raid 3 times does not mean he hasn't gotten to the exotic chest and nabbed some gear there every week since launch. He may have gotten lucky with the raid gear set and sparrow from the 3 completions, but not everything from one raid. I don't buy it.

No it can happen, I did a hard raid with a buddy of mine both of is level Thirty's and he got every raid gear piece as well as three weapons from the vog one of which was the mythoclast

If that was the case why isn't his gear upgraded?
