You are basically saying that it is still viable to use a musket over an assault rifle in modern day warfare. That's how much sense that makes. A musket can still kill people just fine right? No body is forcing the musket users to upgrade right? So why do most people go to war with assault rifles and not muskets?

This. A million times. Even if you had to fight a musketeer. yeah, I could also use a musket, it's balanced right? But other ppl are using assault rifles against this poor musketeer, so I'd rather do that too. Next month that musketeer is getting a FAMAS anyway and then I'll be -blam!-ed no matter what.
