Legendary weapons and armour still need ascendant materials

Yes, normal legendary stuff will need it, but nobody wants that crap, especially the people with maxed out raid gear looking to IMPROVE their character, not go backwards with ordinary purples. I have literally hundreds of acendant materials, after 30+ raids, for what?

RNGesus has not been especially kind to me, but I've done the raid 30+ times. The last month I've been doing it mostly for acendant materials, which was pretty crap, but we just thought 'oh well, at least we are ready for dlc' but now it was all for nothing, literally nothing. I could of not played for a month and be in just as good a position to take on the next Raid, and that annoys me, I like to feel like I'm always achieving something whilst playing, now there is absolutely no point even to play until dlc drop. Then after I get all that gear, what will be the point of playing? To collect the next material? I doubt it, because that will surely become useless as well.
