On the bright side, maybe the ridiculous number of threads will help bungie notice that it's not a popular decision among the players.

Grinding a weapon is easy though. Just a waste of time to do it over again really. Feels more like a way to falsely extend the life of the game.

23 more damage lol. If it was a larger jump or if we would be able to swap perks around I would understand. Granted since it is a small jump, it's possible we can slide by with 300 attack until the house of wolves expansion. Idk resetting just seems like a lame way to do it.

From what other people are suggesting, resetting is by far the better solution. Some ass clown suggested 2 exotic shards and more even experience to level to max. The -blam!-? All the more why I trust Bungie's decisions than this communities.

Not to be cynical, but I'm very doubtful. It was a very similar situation with Atheon and his random teleporting, they admitted they knew about how unhappy people where and still did it.

I'm still here and bitching about it because I payed $100 and I won't get all my content until sometime middle of 2016. I will bitch until that day and play sporadically for a few weeks after each DLC. Bungie will not get any more of my money.

True, I like the game and try to adjust to changes. However, people still are aloud there opinions and some are supplying some good arguments and suggestions IMO.

True, I'm mostly just planning for the DLC. I'm hopping the VoG will give me some armor that I don't have, that way I can focus on getting some new primaries weapons for Crota's end. Since raid primaries are only gonna drop in hard mode. I plan on upgrading icebreaker and gjhalhorn, since I use them the most. Also gonna build up as much vanguard marks as possible. Also, is there any way to to get vanguard marks without vanguard reputation?

I don't know about the marks. I thought they went hand in hand? Are you trying to get marks, but have the rep apply to a faction or something?? I mean... technically..u can do strikes.. that give you vanguard marks, but wear a faction item and the rep goes to them? I dunno! lol

The new system is that you can only buy an item from the vanguard with the regular amount of marks and a recommendation from leveling up, so I want to max out my marks without leveling up in the vanguard. That way when the update comes I can work on maxing out my marks for the week and level up at the same time and then get a new primary weapon with higher attack for the raid.

I see what you mean, I misunderstood what you had previously said :) As far as I know... they aren't mutually exclusive. I hadn't really ever gave it much attention because we didn't have these recommendations to deal with prior to today. Even if you do accidentally rank up before, look on the bright side, depending on how you play, it doesn't take long to get to the next level :)

HaHa.. it doesn't matter. People are going to nitpick the shit out of any change that comes down the pipeline. Personally.. I would pay attention to one post that has several hundred or thousand replies before I looked at a hundred threads that say the same thing with only a couple comments.
