Which does not excuse the time I have put into this equipment just to have it become obsolete.

That's how these type of games work you get the best gear and max level then an expansion comes with new gear. Have you ever played an MMO?

Thanks for letting me know to never buy another MMO. I thought this game was going to be more of a fps not similar to garbage like WoW.

Plus your VOG gear isn't going to waste you need it to do Crotas end Normal level 30.

That's bs. That's how the gear works and the expansions. You reach max level with the best armor. Then the expansion comes out with a new set of better armor. That's how it works. That's how every MMO I play works. Even though this isn't considered a MMO it has some of the features.

But even with those MMO's, they include a way to get your older Raid gear up to par with the newer gear. That way they appeal to a wider audience of MMO fans. It still takes the grind to get older gear maxed to new levels, but doesn't make you feel like your past work was all for naught. Bungie needs to take a lesson from other MMO's and address this. Or just keep giving a huge middle finger to PvE/MMO fans and watch them continue to drop off to go play other, better managed MMO's.

Not every MMO does that for example DC universe online. Once the new expansion comes out with the new gear the old gear is useless.
