the inability to sell items for a singular currency that's good for buying anything makes this game weird.
Bungie has managed to create an economy that's more complicated than real life ones. Imagine if you worked a job that paid you different kinds of credits depending on what work you did lol?
Singular, universal currencies in games allow people to be rewarded no matter how they choose to play.

Bungie wants you to grind for every single thing in their game because they skimped on content, there is NO story. If they make you grind for everything you might, just maybe, still be around for the next dlc, and the next and so on. Then after they've dangled the ever-changing carrot in front of you long enough to make another disgrace of an RPG, they'll try to get you to buy that. These people aren't videogamers like they used to be, they take no pride in their work, they want your money. That's all they care about now.

I agree. They should also create a free market. We should be able to buy, sell, and trade anything. Weapons, armor, sparrows, shaders, ships, anything. But in order for that to work we need a single currency. Make it more realistic!
