You also need to consider the fact that Thorn rounds pierce all targets in a line. For the conflux stage, 1 bullet can kill multiple targets.. Try it out =)

I tried it last night..I wasn't impressed and it didn't go that well actually.

Again, it's your skill with that particular gun that's too blame not the gun ;)

I've never blamed the gun for anything. I just believe both guns serve differing purposes. Hawkmoon is a gun for doing lots of good hard fast damage from most all ranges. Thorn is a good weapon for assisting others in a group. Keeping shields off, making hiding enemies visible from poison ticks etc.Sure you can rock it solo but by doing so the outcome won't be as good as the Hawkmoon.
