The first five pages under the #Recruitment tags have replies less than 5 minutes old. Posting there is a pretty big guarantee that a lot of people are going to see it. The app and the site get a ton of traffic, you'll find someone to join if you just post or search in the right area. You also admitted to purposefully posting in the wrong place, which isn't a good idea either. It annoys people who frequent other sub forums to read and discuss relevant topics and are forced to scroll through irrelevant posts because new users don't know how to follow basic rules. Posting incorrectly (or trolling if that's your thing [spoiler]like replying with a LFG reply in a topic meant to kindly redirect miss posts[/spoiler]) will catch you a lot of flak from old users.
