Okay, let's set things straight. I play xbox and have been enjoying it for 7 years, but this console war is ridiculous. Although playstation has been hacked more then xbox, they are also a lot more popular. Hint hint, bigger target...this is why they have more issues. I would assume both consoles try their best to protect against this sort of thing, but so far Xbox has a better staff behind it. Now to support this with facts. The other day lizard squad ddos'd xbox, went down for 1-2 hours. A few weeks ago lizard squad (same group) also ddosed sony, went down for 13 hours. A group called guardians of peace ( I believe ) hacked sony's servers and restricted them from gaining access to their own servers, same group a few months back tried this on xbox and could never get through the fire wall. I support playstation, but it just simply is a bigger target than xbox, so I will rather stay safe then sorry.

When PSN got ddos it was only down for 3 hours. Not 13.

There was 1 day a few weeks back when it was down for over 12 hours. Started at 10:00 p.m est ended at almost 12:00 p.m (aka. Noon) the next day.

This man knows what he is talking about. PS being attacked more than XB is similar to PC getting attacked more than apple. Because, outside of the device you may play with on the toilet, PC is a much larger target worth attacking.
