All thorn owners know how painful the bounty was. Especially the crucible part. I'm a fairly calm gamer, not casual, just calm. I found myself screaming at my television because of how frustrated I was. And it doesn't get any easier in the next parts. For the trouble of the bounty, the newfound power of thorn certainly is fair.
Secondly, vex mytho is the "hardest weapon to get." Damn right it's overpowered.

I'm at like 180/500 points... I'm... Getting... There... O_O Thankfully though I have a fully upgraded Atheon's Epilogue to help me through it. Plus a Praedyth's (if that's how it's spelled) Revenge. I'm having a much easier time with it than I think others did without those weapons :p

Just got atheons so the crucible may be a bit easier to do now, I'm twinning it with the bad juju bounty so I may have both very soon!

Nice! Make sure you upgrade Epilogue, it's pretty powerful (especially with a void burn in the nightfall :D)

I'm currently trying to get to the less recoil upgrade, I'm a scout rifle man so the recoil feels mental at the mo!

I understand that feeling XD Combine that with the perk that lessens the recoil the longer the gun is shot though and after around 20 bullets when shooting in full auto there's little to no recoil at all. It's great!

The thing about Epilogue and Praetorians is that even though Epilogue will tear through their void shield, it really doesn't deal TOO much damage to them. I would still stick with using a heavy to take them down. You might find yourself being downed trying to kill them with the Epilogue because it takes awhile to bring down their health due to low impact but high rate of fire. That basically means they can just teleport right up to you and smash you in the ground while you're shooting them... Source: Been there, done that...

Yes. Anyone who says the Crucible bounty for Thorn was easy is a damn liar. I gave up on it completely until the 2nd Iron Banner event came along. It practically took me the same amount of time to finish the bounty as it did to get to rank 5 in Iron Banner..... but you know what, it was worth it, especially now.

It WAS easy. I took me the better part of 2 hours. You just gotta focus. In rumble every one uses shotguns, void fusions FTW

Well kudos to you for taking the easy route(?) I completed that part of the bounty solely playing Control(Iron Banner). And I despise using fusion rifles so I only used my Atheon's Epilogue, a lv 20 rare void sniper and The Swarm(MG).

Love when people say the thorn bounty is "hard". I used a rare fusion rifle and rare shotgun to do the pvp part, easy. Xyor...easy. Nothing about the thorn bounty is hard, it's just the pvp part takes a little bit of time.

The Vex is the hardest weapon to get,? Unless you jumped into the hard raid at the Atheon checkpoint and just pushed him off like most who have this weapon did... Thorn is earned

I have 13 timebreakers and 7 aspect of glass that says we earned them the right way. Hell ive done a buncha Aetheon runs when i didnt need anything to help my buddies get theirs. Vex wasnt hardest gun to get anyways, friggin FateBringer took me 17 hm runs to get. Still think FB is better overall. At least Vex owners can say they didnt FARM 2 friends on rumble for an hour to get it. They ran Aetheon on hard every week till their eyes bled for it. But im sure Zur will have it for sale this week just for you

You can't push Atheon off since couple updates ago. Its been some times since anyone would push him off

Thorn bounty was simple. Cheese Xyur and use a void shotgun in pvp, 3-4 hours max from start to finish.
