I actually have 2 parts I'd like to get better at.
1. Going thru the portal at the gatekeeper, strats and stuff, I haven't really gone in always prefer guarding outside.
2. Relic holding during atheon - how can I take down the minotaur easily on venus and prevent the hobgoblins from team sniping me on mars

Edited by Kabr: 12/1/2014 1:24:39 PM2. For minotaurs, on hard especially, have everyone in portal throw grenade or shoot him with rocket , then kill him. Since titan defenders have sticky grenade (2 with Armamentarium) that are doing void it will be much easier for you to kill weaken Minotaur. For hobgoblins - exactly opposite, they shouldn't go downstairs, shoot or throw grenades, so you can sneak up on them and kill one jump. If one of the hobgoblins isn't in group(you can only kill two at once) tell people in portal to kill him. That's pretty much it. Protip from Kabr, the very first vault conquer: If you got teleported alone, don't wait for people to open the portal and come in, just run out of it, you won't get time's vengeance but will survive, which is the most important

1. There are a few different strats for the gatekeeper. All of them are kind of dependent on the levels/skill of the members in the raid, or the type of weapons the members have. If you have all high level and good weapons (like gjallahorns and ice breakers maxed out) you can try to solo both portals at the same time. Basically you have 4 people outside defending the left and right portal, the 2 remaining players should have gjallahorns preferably and each person goes into each portal and kills the gatekeepers by themselves. Its seriously like 3 shots with the gjallahorn on hard or something like that. The thing about this strat is you want to make sure both gatekeepers are killed about the same time so neither solo member goes blind too fast. This is one of the faster ways to beat the gatekeeper portion because you don't have to really worry about defending the confluxes for very long. Basically, both relic holders come out about the same time and go to the center around the time when a Minotaur is coming down the stair to be sacrificed. If you don't have 2 players blessed with the almighty gjallahorn you can do what my group normally does, which is a slightly modified version of the last. Basically start with the left portal and once again have 4 on the outside and now have 2 go into the portal on the left. Its really nice if you have a titan put up a bubble with weapons of light before the left portal. This is nice for the 4 people on the outside to have as well in case they need a place to regen. The 2 people that go in should have their best heavy weapon or sniper and focus fire on the gatekeeper. Really focus on not dying. Remember there are 4 people outside so you have time, don't rush. If you start to get hit then go back outside the portal and regen then go back in. When the gatekeeper is about a hit or 2 from dying he usually goes all the way to the back where the relic spawns. When he is 1-2 hits from dying the person who is not getting the relic should leave and immediately go to the next portal with 1 of the 4 outside (preferably a titan with weapons special ready). So then when the left portal is open the first relic holder should be coming out of the left portal and go in to the right portal and help kill the right gatekeeper/cleanse the other person. Also when the left relic holder comes out of the left portal 2 of the defenders should go to defend the conflux for a little. So you should have 2 defending conflux, 2 defending right portal, and 2 relic carriers in the right portal. So once the relics get out then its everybody to the mid and defend conflux. I like this strat the most. The hardest part is when everybody is split into 2s so you will really want to split up your team based on their strengths. I like to have hunters grabbing relics. Then I like the other 2 teams of 2 to be a titan and warlock. Everything just seems to go smooth that way. There are other alterations but I think these are the most stable/easiest.

For Atheon: On hardmode I find it best for 1 person to kill the first oracle while the other person helps the relic holder in BOTH Venus and Mars. If one of the 3 that teleports is a hunter with golden gun then he can just 1 shot all of the hob goblins and really -blam!- up the Minotaur before the relic holder even gets there. As far as being the relic holder goes, you kind of have to play each teleport by ear. What I usually do in venus is go for the Minotaur unless the 2 goblins are close to each other and easy to kill real quick then I kill them and go for the minotaur. On Mars, I run along the left side so the hob goblins don't see me and then jump and smash them. Try and get at least 2 with your first hit or its going to be tough. Also the only attack you need is to jump up in the air and then hold right trigger to do the ground smash. Using the other attacks will not stun the minotaur and take multiple hits on the hob goblin. Another thing to know is on hardmode level 29 and below will not 1 shot the hob goblins with the ground smash attack so if you have enough 30s then always have them pick up the relic if possible. The biggest thing for my group that made this part easier was what I pointed out first, having 1 person help with the adds on both planets. Whether he wants to shoot a rocket or snipe it helps a lot. If you have trouble with oracles because of it, just remember there are 3 people sitting outside basically circle jerking because supplicants are pretty easy. They just need to remember that once the portal is up then dont need to be on the pillar in the sync plate, they can just go to a taller pillar and kill supplicants up there with no worry of getting blown up. If you would like to see these strats in action, you can always add me on XB1 and jump in on a raid with us. We run them all the time. I might try and post a video as well to illustrate just how easy these strats make the raid.
