Are you being kicked off live? If so, I have a post out there regarding kick offs on the help page. Check it out. Others have reported their errors as well.

No, this is limited to my Destiny play. Other games have been working without any issues.

My guess (which was my problem as well) is that your router can support so much down and upload speed. I changed my router and have had no issues
-
My router and connection should be more than capable. My down/up speeds are perfectly reasonable and I have no other bandwith hogs going on when trying to play this game.
-
My download and upload speeds were good as well, but your router may just not support destiny and its server based game
-
Well perhaps Bungie should outline which routers the game supports and which it does not so we can make an informed decision as consumers to spend $60 on something.
-
That's a great idea, except all routers work. Just some much much better than others. But I do like that idea!

I have no idea if my issues are router related, but I think your definition of the term "work" may be different than mine. Again, Destiny is the only game I have these issues with. If it's a router issue, I would love to have at least been told that my Comcast router is not of the quality needed to play this game PRIOR to spending the money. I have no recourse at this point other than put this game with all my other games that I no longer play. Either that or go out and buy some routers and test them out. I really don't want to spend that kind of money or time over a game that is good, but certainly not great by any means. There are a ton of other game options out there. It just feels like Bungie has dropped the ball on this and the only customer support response you get among the growing number of ERROR threads on this forum is to re-configure your network. I am sure they are looking into the issue, but that is little solace after the fact. Frustrating to say the least.

I agree with your frustration. But going to Comcast and requesting to test a different router costs you nothing. Before you shelf this game, which seems like you don't want to do because you are still fighting, go to the service center and trade out your router. If that's too much, call and they should send one to you in the mail. Check into it before you shelf the game. Because if more server based games are going to be released in the future, you will be happy you made the switch now. Now go and find your light guardian. Oh wait that's Bungie's job to tell you that haha.
-
I appreciate your thoughtful responses. However, dealing with Comcast customer support is worse than Bungie's failure to communicate issues. I think I will just play other games that seem to work at this time. I hope you all get your issues worked out.

I got in and out of the service center in 3 minutes. Might be worth checking out. But if you don't want to i understand. Enjoy killing others on other games.
