Is people attempting them under equipped. The single most common complaint I see in the [i]Nightfall is too hard for solo now[/i] threads is that people have to empty magazines into shields and still can't drop them. Do people still not understand that one shot from a fully leveled special weapon will drop the shields if it has the same modifier? Or is it that they know, they just are too lazy to get a full suite? I had no problems with last weeks Nightfall, but was having a bitch of a time dropping the yellow solar Wizards yesterday. It wasn't because the game is too hard now, it was because I didn't have any solar damage weapons. So rather than come on here and yell [i]DEEJ YOUR GAME IS BROKEN U SUCK[/i], I went and bought a solar weapon. Yes, you [i]can[/i] do that. Have tried it once so far and was able to get to stage 3 in the first sealed room with one Wizard left. Should've killed him too, but got too cavalier thinking I was through. Took a couple heavy ammo synths to drop the other Wizards, but a solar rocket or 2 dropped their shields and then my Void Epitaph could finish them. That was with unleveled weapons. Haven't tried it again yet. I'm doing bounties to level up my weapons to drop them like butter because [i]that's how you're supposed to play this game[/i]. If you can't kill something (or someone in PvP), find better weapons or practice and get better. TL;DR- Don't take a butter knife to a sword fight.
