So true, but even more annoying are those dots on the radar you are waiting for and then just run by. I'd say 75 percent of the people aren't even listning to the announcement. Same goes for a lot of players not knowing that the more zones you control the more points you get for a kill. How often have I tried to capture a point and people just ran along not helping me. So to all of you unaware of the rules: the more people are in the cricle, the faster it's ours! ;-)

Well, the best is taking only two zones and control your enemy respawn. I hate when my teammates go to the other side of the damn map and leave our zones alone.

Edited by Blacksmith: 11/27/2014 5:31:53 PMYup, last time I played a couple days ago, I had a team in fire base delphi that was beyond moronic. We had Capture point A (thanks to me) and we were struggling to get B and were down maybe almost 2000 points. I get fed up with waiting, come through the top, toss an arcbolt grenade. I see it chain a few enemies, so I activate my super. Cutting through the room I kill the entire enemy team. The Super runs off, I blink strike the last guy. I hang in that corner and pick off anyone who comes near point B. I kill at least 3-6 more guys. But my team won't take point B. They literally walk around it. So, I quit defending the point and waiting for them to cap it. I try to cap it myself, but end up trading kills with some guy who has a shotgun. After that I lost hope for my team, camped extremely far away and just picked off a few kills for the rest of the game while we lost by a huge number of points. Shit's annoying.

I agree

And it is like this I get Space Magic Medals and 5 kills at once :) (ok only 2 of those) It all depends on situations. When people are starting to have supers it is better to have teammates posted as sentries bit away from the capture point. Rather have supers used to kill one guy or hear that blade dancer coming from farther away.

Im not PvP beast or anything (First time playing PvP FPS since I got abused in the first Halo and quit the genre) but I'm learning the mechanics of it and I was frustrated as I was playing this match on the outer limits on earth. My teammates just watched as I capped a point by myself and didn't even help as he was too must camping. Waiting for some mysterious person to come around that corner.

As side note in control games it is better to hold only 2 points and defend than trying to capture the 3rd. Reasons : 1) you control were you spawn and were enemy will spawn. 2) some maps have some advantages on 2 particular points that are easier to defend due to distance between them and by design. Capturing the point less interesting might get your partners unhappy and can cause your team to loose because you mess with the spawning

Also aware. I try to control a point as running and gunning isn't my strong suit. My point was that of the comment I replied to. Its quicker to cap a point with more people. The only real counter to that is avoiding bunch to reduce group kills.

Actually this is my first PVP FPS at all and hell I sucked in the beginning. But I worked on my game play and simply tried to learn from others. Worst thing you can do is blame others for your own faults, in this case dying. :-)

Who said I died? I was saying my teammate couldn't help me cap a point because they were too busy camping. I didn't want to stay on the point long as it left me exposed to gun fire from multiple angles.
