They said " epic " they said " become legend " They said " social " . I can do this more, if you want. The gameplay is fun, that's it. If they just said " destiny is fun " it would be fine. The game has been a let down.

That's called marketing..I understand how you feel though, truly. My brother is in the same boat, but you guys describe it like this game was supposed to change your life lol. It's a video game, guys. If you don't like it, don't play. Nobody forced you to play and nobody is forcing you now. I'm not going to make up excuses on why it didn't meet expectations. That's not for me to decide. I can just tell you that you only have two choices, regardless of how you feel. Either play, or don't play. The choice is yours. But if you're going to stick around, then SUPPORT what they're doing. Not just whine the whole time.

The expansion pack that has 3 extra story missions, 1 strike and 1 raid and weapons and armor. Wow that will take a long time to complete.

Yeah, I bet the new mission will probably run 1 to 3 hours. I really don't see it being a lot of content for the price. After seeing what little content you get for the $60 full game, people who spent money on the so-called expansion may be in for a nasty surprise. I hope I'm wrong, but seeing as to how it's pretty much Bungivision now, I wouldn't bet the house on it.

You are right...Destiny is just a game....A game that help a person who have a brain surgery feel better! ! A game that was supposed to be amazing and have a full potential....but got crushed. I don't care if your an adult just hear me out if we don't stop this technique then near future we people who enjoys playing will get screw all over again. It's a consumer product, just like any consumer product you pay money to get it, so you expect it to work as advertised. Sure, if this was a free game or it worked like the advertisements showed nobody would have a right to be upset. That's not the case though, people bought this game from anywhere between 60 to 120 dollars. Now before you say "lol should have waited to see what the game was like" bungie was a very likable and reliably good company before destiny came out so people preorder and what not to support the company, a company that had been making spectacular games since its creation. If you bought a really nice looking plasma tv and then realized that images would burn into it after a minute of sitting still would you say "oops, my fault for buying it" or would you be pissed that your tv was crappier then advertised and you payed more than what it's worth for it? "Return it then" you get less money back then what you spent, so you'd be paying money and have nothing to show for it, and it's not like the company is giving you back the money, GameStop is, so bungie and activision couldn't care less. The only way to get them to see we don't like them pulling this crap is to not buy any more of their stuff AND tell them so and say why. If you don't tell someone what's wrong they're not going to fix it.

I can definitely say that if a year ago, you had ask me what developers were least likely to disappoint you... I would have said Bungie and NaughtyDog without hesitating.

Exactly, half the reason it sold so well was that bungie's name was on it, because it was such a reputable company.

I am glad you enjoy Destiny, and you do raise a important point: why continue to play it if you are so unhappy with it? Although this wasnt really the point of the post I can answer that. I guess because I really wanted Destiny to be better than it is. I would really would like to see many of the logical changes the community is pushing put into effect. I have been a fan for a long time and Bungie has never disappointed me like this, and that is worth something. I suppose the negativity is a little taxing when you do enjoy the game, but this is the feedback forum. People are definitely more likely to post negative feedback over positive, especially if it is seen as an avenue to change. Its human nature. Also, perhaps there are so many negative posts because there is a lot to be upset about.

I wholeheartedly agree. I've been a Bungie fan since Halo CE. Is Destiny the greatest game ever? Of course not. It was certainly hyped up to be though. But that's past the point now. Now we need to focus on how to make the game better as a community, not just bash it left and right. That's what frustrates me the most, especially when the kids bashing it continue to bitch while they play. That makes no sense to me. Why would I waste my free time complaining? That isn't fun for me. I agree with your points, and I believe we're on the same side. I'm just sick of people coming on here to complain incessantly. I hope the DLC blows me away. Especially with the second one already in the works. Would I rather pay for it? Of course not, but that's the way the world works. I can cry and complain about the price, or I can buy it and add hundreds of more hours of play time. I know which I'd rather choose!
