Doubt it. Because if they release the raid day 1 then not many people will actually play Eris's story. Unless the raid is Eris's last story thus making it available once you get there...

Doesn't matter as much people fanboy over this game I'm sure they'll eventually play because they'll have nothing to do after a while. If raid isn't out day one I won't play. I'm not interested in being pushed into Destinys story when I could play Warframe. Just my opinion though, Destiny to me is only fun with friends.

Well, raid is available day 1. Hard mode isn't.

I get the impression from the trailer that this is the case. It says the story, strike and raid are linked.
