Snipers aren't considered noobish. Since you actually have to aim pretty good to use them.
Snipers are probably the only weapon people respect when you land hits.

I will give that snipers are less hated then the other 2. But, they can promote camping, the most hated of all tactics.

Camping can only be successful with a good team behind you. With radars and cams it's too easy to find campers.
