Best Legendary Scout Rifle?
I've somehow managed to accrue a large amount of legendary scout rifles and am wondering which one is the best.

Vision of confluence is the best, IMO. That's why I didn't put it on the list.

If you got them from drops, then the upgrades are most likely all random! Find the upgrades that suit your play style the best!

I got the calling and proxima from drop and both came wirh active radar. Sweet. The calling has higher stability. I have yet to try both to decide which one to keep. I already have maxed VOC and maxed MIDA so i usually dismantle legendary scout rifle drops but i kept both for the third eye. Is it worth keeping the 3 eyed calling and proxima? Each of my chars already have VOC. Btw I also have a maxed super pox with active radar. I like the pox better than my 3-eyed scout rifles. The super pox does 1 hit kill compared to 3-hit kill with the scout rifles.

You're forgetting the iron banners scout rifle. You should really look at the perk on mine. (Luck in the chamber)

I voted Aries. Check out my hunter's unequipped gear. Got it from an engram. It has exposive and high caliber rounds as well as stability. It also has radar when zoomed. I really lucked out. Granted you can get this with other guns but for me it really makes this rifle shine as a versatile PvE and PvP rifle. Stats may be better on some but I think if you pick any rifle and just stick with it you get used to its RoF, sights and perks making it more effective than 2 rifles for those who bounce between different setups for specific reasons.

They are all pretty much equal. Go with the perks you like. I use the calling in pve cause it recharges my grenades on kill, and proxima for PvP, its a three shot kill with radar perk.

That vangaurd scout rifle with the hilarious name AFXYL123 , I loved it funny satire of how they actually name rifles,. So good though, and 'the calling' was my first legendary it's awesome too best range of all the scouts and better than most snipers . Shame I always was a scout fan , but deej obviously knows that and therefore has never given me the VOC :-( despite doing atheon both difficulties every week for the past 6 .... No fair .

2 RepliesIssue with this is a lot of it depends on the skills on the scout rifle. For example I have been given the Proxima Centauri and the Cryptic Dragon a few times from strikes and engrams and the skills change. Good luck figuring out what you want to use.

Nemesis does 73 a head shot making it a 3 hit kill in pvp

VoC is best but A1.X269%357%3#)($&)($ RYL is a close second imo. I got it from an engram with 3rd eye and piercing rounds, it's pretty baller

Out of what you have listed above I.E. guns not subjected to the stupid RNG my vote goes towards the AFXYL 1.2.3 It fires slower with high impact like the Aries nemesis but has a higher stability. The calling would probably be my number 2 pick. Also keep in mind the perks can be different from gun to gun. I was given a crypt dweller for leveling up my cryptarch rank and it has explosive rounds and active radar I think

Comparing stats, the calling fires just as quickly as cryptic dragon but with an added firefly perk. Is Calling lower just because it is Future War Cult exclusive?
