I'd say the safest bet for normal is being a level 28 because the supplicants are level 28 in atheons room.
For guns just go with something that you're comfortable with and does about 267+ damage
Void damage for the beginning with the praetorians, and after that it's all preference.

Edited by Beliquo: 11/18/2014 6:31:24 AMJack up your agility and charge the supplicants. Just before they get to you, begin backing up. They will self-destruct with you safely out of range. Easiest way to handle supplicants and doesnt matter what level you are.
