Patch 1.07 Broke Game ::HELP::
I installed the patch on my PS3.
I started the game, and pressed "X" on the main menu. It loaded normally, but suddenly it says:
"Error:
Expansion content appears to be damaged or missing and cannot be loaded. Please re-download and try again.
For more information, visit help.bungie.net and search for error code: boar:"
Umm... The Dark Below expansion isn't even out. Apparently I'm supposed to have The Dark Below installed to play :\
::EDIT:: Tried my PS4. And:
"Error
Unable to connect to PSN. Please check your network connection and PSN status."
The hell?

29 RepliesHi Kadziet, The BOAR error message can occur when there is trouble grabbing new files to download. As the PlayStation Network is conducting scheduled maintenance today, this would explain why you and others will see this error. If you're experiencing strange behavior while playing or accessing Destiny, it is likely due to maintenance. Thank you for being understanding here, Kadziet. Wow what a surprise, a patch that screwed up peoples ability to play your game, way to go bungie. Course i and many others haven't been able to play since the patch that fixed Atheon, but its so good to see that you're doing something about it. Oh wait...

Same here error code boar. Did everything bungie says. Nothing works. Playstation store is fine. Other games work just fine. Except for destiny.

Well PlayStation network down doesn't explain why the patch will not download on the Xbox one Just get message saying something went wrong - go to bungie help- which was not help at all. Tested all my seting Nat: open Network connection good Multiplayer connection good All other games and online apps/games working fine I think the problem is your end Bungie. Guess I will be playing dragon Age instead. GT Mysty121

Yeah it was really nice. On my day off i couldnt play because of this crap! Oh yes i could go outside and have fun..if it wasnt freaking cold and raining like hell. Just fix this damn thing quickly please.

I turned my ps3 off . let it sit for about 10min and was able to go into "account management" this time (wasn't able to earlier. Got error code) so I started destiny up and am online now.

This was scheduled PSN maintenance so why did Bungie decide to release the update at the same time?

Its cause the psn update today for the next 5 hours. As the download got done Psn put the store offline hence it can't tell your region
