Slight? with my SC the explodsive rounds gave each round a 123 point of splash, it was a sodding grenade launcher

no...explosive rounds doesnt add any damage to your weapon... it only makes some of the damage into area damage...which can hurt multiple targets....thats not what im talking about though... they only nerfed the effect of the shaking screen...this perk already had very little effect as far as shaking your opponents screen...now it will be completely useless in PvP...further reducing viable options....the opposite of what Destiny is all about.

I am aware of how explosive rounds work. I drop close to 200 points of damage fro the hit and it is directed as 123 points of splash, on low mobs it is still an OHK splash. the rounds have always been useless in PVP

ok...sorry...you didnt seem to be aware of what i was talking about in regards to todays patch...i appologize. not at all...the shaking of the screen made it a viable option in PvP...i noticed that it made it hard for others to shoot straight when being hit by explosive rounds...not so much anymore... hence...this post was made

Edited by Lord Vetinari: 11/17/2014 5:09:50 PMIt depends on the amount of shake reduced, the amount it did cause was massive, possibly more then intended. it did not make it hard to return fire, it made it impossable. but the reduced TTK made it impractical

Edited by iGreenTreeFrogg: 11/17/2014 5:12:01 PMagree to disagree... i used it a bit and was never dominant with it... ive also never been absolutely dominated BY it....so i disagree that it needed any reduction... IMO it needed to be MORE of a shake....hardly anyone uses it. what recuded TTK? it doesnt effect TTK...

the reduced damage also has a reduced impact modifier, i noticed it when playing with it on my world drop Aries Nemesis
-
you're saying volitile rounds cuases an impact reduction? I dont think so...
-
test it with and without in PVP

I have, its the same. If anything, i do maybe 1 more damage per bullet with the explosive rounds because of rounding up of multiple numbers
