Lol you do realize going prone never actually happens in like real war type situations and shit. Unless they are laying down sniping it won't happen. This isn't cod and what would be the point of it? It's just plain stupid

US Army guy here. Can confirm prone is used a hell of a lot. Many uniforms have been stained from "movement under fire" training. Can also confirm prone is dumb idea for Destiny.

Uuuh, no. Most military contacts are conducted almost entirely from prone position, since you offer the smallest target area this way.

Yeah you go prone to shoot when you set up a sniper with a bipod and such. But you don't just jump straight to the ground and start shooting prone... And that's what adding prone to this game would do...

i really dont tihnk adding prone into this game is going to make people wanna lay down in the crucible for the fact it would restrict your height you can look up and destiny if you have every played it has massive jumps unlike COD where you cant just jump out of sight or blink over and over there would be many ways to counter people who are prone.
