I would say get 2 hunters and level one up 2 level 20 and swap the armor around so you can do the weekly twice and get more coins

the thing is I'm a casual player who can only play half the time, I know I can make a second character which I have and do it but I don't have time to level up that second character, so I can't buy the last word unless xur comes back with it in the next two weeks for me

Makes sense since the heavy weapons are more powerful. They pretty much make the more powerful weapons easier to get in a way
