Earning is the wrong word to use because obviously no one earns it, my problem is they say RNG and so we all think hmmm everything has a random chance of dropping and yet they then bring out a vendor who has a definite chance to sell the most powerful weapons and armor in the game with a definite chance of getting enough strange coins per week, every week, it contradicts itself which is why I don't like it, now I'm not gonna lie I have bought several things from Xur, the Armamentarium (on the second week of four haha), the IceBreaker and the Sunbreakers to name a few, obviously because it's the easiest way to do it and I want to keep up with the rest of the players but it doesn't mean I agree with it, I would be fine if it was harder to find strange coins so for example some weeks you just wouldn't have enough but I can easily find the spare 1 hour to do the weekly on my three characters and get 27 coins which is enough for a weapon or a piece of armor or both depending on the weapon which isn't a challenge and it isn't a grind compared to the rest of the game, I have voiced my opinion, agree? disagree? tell me why.

13 RepliesRight? I ran the raid over a dozen times before I got the Last Word. I worked my ass off to get it and to max it out. Then BAM. Xur sells it. You know what Destiny I'm not gojng to do shit anymore ill just sit around and pick at my ass till Xur has something I need. How bout that? Is this how you want your players playing the game? Everyone just waiting for Xur to cheap out some weapon so people will spam it then complain about it then youll nerf it then everyone will cry then youll cheap out another weapon and then they will spam it then you'll nerf it and they will cry about it. GET RID OF -blam!-ING XUR. HE RUINS THIS -blam!-ING GAME.

I think if your beat the heroic strike and earn 9 coins 3 times in a row you deserve the primary xur sells regardless of what it is. Your not the only one who plays this game.
