I have some turtle beach x12s and I really like them. Comfortable, crisp, separate game and chat volumes, bass boost volume
Only issue is I have to use the old component input as my tv doesn't have audio out (red and white). So id recommend checking on what ever set you get, what connections you will need. There is adapters for most things but that's extra cost

no its a surround sound headset, its sick for gaming Some people feel claustrophobic but I love it, you have to check what type of connections are required, ie I need to use component for the L+R audio, if your TV has audio out you should be fine with HDMI
