Can a level 28 do the Vault on hard?
I could be 29 right now, but I am working on upgrading my hunter with shards ATM. Would it be possible to do it on a 28?

1 ReplyIt can be hard to take a 29 thru at times. I can't tell you how many raid groups I've been with that couldn't make it because of the 29's not pulling their weight.

It's possible, sure. The first time I did the VoG on hard with the "hotfix", it was me (lvl 30) four 29's, and a 28. Total group of randoms. We fought from spire to atheon, and the 28, god bless his soul, was no burden at all. Once we got to atheon however, the random teleporting ultimately proved too much an obstacle to overcome. I say yes, but a lot depends on the group dynamics and the player.

Play as a 29 for the raid upgrade the armor a different time

Edited by ZOMBGOD: 11/13/2014 3:31:11 AMYes, my clan consisted of 2 28's and 4 29's the first time we did hard back in the first raiding week. 8 hours and 400 wipes, but it is possible especially now with so many lv30 veteran raiders around to carry a 28 through. We took a lv27 through last week with minimal fuss as 5 lv30's.

possible but you would die alot and would have to have a group that can raid with 5 players essentially my clan and i carried a lvl 27 through the raid today and it was a handicap especially in the portals with Atheon http://www.bungie.net/en/Legend/PGCR/1/4611686018433179658/2305843009214957891/792850573?_ link for proof

1 ReplyIt's possible because I've done it as a level 27 titan before. You just need to stay in the back for everything and do your part during the oracles.

4 RepliesEdited by [REDACTED]: 11/13/2014 3:04:18 AMCan? Yes. Should? No. Don't be a scrub. Upgrade your gear to 29. There's really no excuse to be stuck at 28. You have the same exotics and access to faction gear. Upgrade that stuff to max.
