It's not Ads. It's a reskin of scope.

How? Doesn't ADS stand for aiming down sights? Sorry if I sound stupid I just really want to know.

It functions the same as previous Halo scopes. It merely looks different. It is purely cosmetic.

Your character is aiming down the sights. It's ADS. Just because it's not necessary doesn't mean it isn't ADS

People don't like ADS because of what it does, less so the animation
