Too be honest, it is the prankers fault. They knew they were going into a rough neighborhood, and what they were doing was most likely going to get them injured. Although they might not have known they were going to get shot, they should've known it was going to get them injured, or at the very least, threatened.

Yes. Although shooting them was definently uncalled for, they should have known something bad was going to happen
