• They don't have time to explain why they don't have time to explain, it will randomly appear.

  • They brought a believable story. He was my 3rd favorite. Tali and Garrus were tied for #1. If you can think of a good one, I'm on board.

If they were going to bring in a playable Vex the only way it would work is if they revealed that the Vex are actually humans from a distant future where the singularity has occurred, and some how one of them has regained it's memory and broken away from the hive mind. This vex would explain to us that the traveler is our real enemy. It would also acknowledge that even though the Vex original plan was to stop the traveler over countless years of living inside the time conflux the hive mind has become corrupted and now thinks of itself as a god that determines what life should exist and what life shouldn't; therefore the rest of the Vex must be stopped as well.

  • That's better, but doesn't go along with the complex history and goals of the vex. Ex: The vex have secondary defense functions, even their guns are beacons for energy and such. There are parts of the grimoire that explain parts such as this. But I do see what your aiming at.

  • I'm just illustrating a point; I haven't gotten around to collecting all the ghosts so I still haven't read all the Grimoir cards. My point is that there are enough tropes out there that support villains becoming heroes, it's just a matter of finding one and running with it.
