Edited by The Cellar Door: 11/5/2014 9:31:46 PMThat's why this is called "the forbidden experiment" and for the most part is a taboo subject in psychology. The parents who tried it before were charged with child abuse and were stripped of their child. They kept her in almost complete isolation from 20 months old until she was found at the age of 13.She is affectionally called "genie" and currently resides in a mental institution. There was evidence of physical abuse and her life was not carried out in complete isolation, after they found her, she was at first silent, because she had been beaten for making noise before, and she was practically immobile because she had be strapped to a toilet with her limbs tied up. Extremely interesting story, absolutely horrible though. But what you bring up is why this experiment is not done, as it is so ridiculously in-humane.

What the hell, poor girl... Why did the mother get to care for her?
What the hell, poor girl... Why did the mother get to care for her?
I'm not entirely sure, but I think it was her father who was committing the abuse and isolating her, I'd have to read more up on it though.
