You know that the game has a good basis when you're biggest complaint is 'not enough content'.
Destiny plays better than any game i have played that i can remember. For a 100% online game, it has less connection issues than other online games i have recently played.
The graphics, gameplay, and co-op aspects are why i keep coming back for more.

The repetitive content is something else as well. Gameplay wise this game is amazing. I wish bosses and mini bosses dropped certain kinds of loot to even up RNG a little.
-
I agree. Maybe in strikes legendarys only have a chance to drop from them, and then increase the chances to balance it out

Destiny cost Bungie $500,000,000 to release. GTA V cost Rockstar a little over half of that amount. So why in God's name do invisible walls exist in Destiny? I'm praying for the day when someone decides to give Rockstar a $500 million budget. I don't think anyone is doubting that Destiny is a good game. Just that the most expensive game in history is, at most, a 4-star game.
-
Not one single dollar from that amount went into making the game. That was the advertising budget, you know like how Taco Bell has destiny items all over their store.
-
Gta V is almost here I hope they actually release there falsely promised content.

Did heists ever come out? That was what i was most looking forward to.

Lmao no I'm guessing it's cause of last gen.. I could be very wrong but I think there gonna come in the new/real version.
-
'Real' version!? Don't give them excuses lol It'll be the same game.
-
Lol i just meant they clearly always had the new hen version planned. It will be the same game with a lot more content.

Destiny worked when it was released.

+1. Overall, Destiny is a very good game, and I can't wait to see where Bungie will take it! There are a few things that could be improved (e.g. More vault space, in-game Grimoire browser, more interactions with NPCs, cutscene intro to events), but I think we're off to a good start, and I think Bungie will keep moving in the right directions (proxy chat in Tower/match made areas, exotic weapon tweaking, bounty-task-chain-esque quest lines <- DO WANT).
Yes, I thought the "loot cave" was a sub-optimal way to play, and I don't feel angry that they patched it out. In fact, I'm very excited they added the "remains" Easter egg, because it means they can joke about their game.
The one thing that i can point to, that gives me a lot of confidence in Destiny's future, is the Halloween items. A game designer does not
simply
make a game feature to be used only once. :-)

Yes I definitely can't wait for more content. I also agree that the game mechanics are very good
