I found an exploit to get the kills outside of nightfall. Go in one of the side buildings deep enough and the low level kills count towards the 200 needed for the bounty. Knocked it out in 40 min or so.

I ended up soloing the nightfall all the way to the boss twice and got mine. Nice little fusion rifle
