Beat hard raid 3 times today, not very hard at all. Especially when your raid team (including me) is lvl 30 and has beaten hard 12+ times.
Only hard part for us is us not dying on the jumping puzzle.
Oh and actually getting the Mythoclast is the hardest part, maybe I won't have to beat it 15 times on hard to get it. Dang RNG.

Every single class can make it from the 3rd platform pretty easily. Can even be done without the platforms at all.
-
I hate the jumping part! It is definitely not designed with Titans in mind. And before someone insults me or says it's the easiest part, save it. I'd rather fight my way through a sea of Praetorians than try to jump that.
-
Of course it doesn't matter what you post.. mr. know it all below still had to chime in and tell you how easy it is. I know what you mean though... the jumping puzzle can be frustrating... especially when you play multiple characters where the jumping isn't the same. Can't tell you how many times I've been on as my Warlock.... only to jump as though I were my hunter and just go sailing right over one of the towers and into the abyss. It's especially funny when I finally make it and the rest of my team is down there with their characters in the sitting down position... LOL!
-
That is exactly what happens to me. Some of them even came back to try to get me to follow the leader! That's a devoted fireteam. I just never became a jumping marvel during play. After I came across that for the first time I spent the next week working on my jumping. I got better but I still had trouble. I'm not ashamed to admit it. I excel at some things and others I don't. But my level, gear and stats speak for my skills. I expected comments from this but at least he put it in a nice way and didn't sink to insults. Positive feedback is helpful.

Titans have the fasted method of getting across the chamber without the need of a single platform... In fact, all classes can get across without the need of any platforms.
-
I know some people have no problem and that's great. But, just last night when I went through again, it was the 3 Titans in the fireteam that were struggling. Nothing in the game ever made us prepare an insane jumping section like that unless you were just playing around on patrol or something. I just think it's a challenge the raid could do without. That's my opinion. Not an argument or statement.
-
You're absolutely right. Why on earth did Bungie implement a struggle in the most challenging activity in game? Maybe I should go ask them to create a flower bridge across the chamber. Ooo, while I'm asking them, maybe we should remove Praetorians at the beginning? And maybe make the templar shoot marshmellows? How about the gorgons, should we ask to remove their eyes? Maybe we can have the gatekeepers meet up too and cry about their past and future. Then finally, let's sit down and have tea time with Atheon, talk about his feelings.
-
Wait, wait... Did you ever, in the entire story or game, ever have to jump across the Grand Canyon? You see, my point was that there were mobs of enemies to fight off while your ghost scanned something, mobs of enemies you had to fight through to get from point A to B and C, and more enemies you had to fight off while firing ten thousand rounds into a boss. But all of that could be done while walking, running or strategically jumping out of a sticky situation. But nothing ever made me need to practice jumping across the Atlantic Ocean on platforms that disappear as soon as your about to land your jump. That my sarcastic friend is the point. Had I been making crazy jumps from the beginning I would have been prepared. But it is totally unrelated to any of the other gameplay.
-
How do you know they won't add more in future campaign levels or raids? If that's the case, stop bitching, start learning how to jump a simple chasm. Maybe you can prepare yourself now before you -blam!- yourself over later.
-
I hate when people in here say not to whine or "bitch". I didn't start the thread regarding the jumping. I was just commenting on the existing post. If you're a jumping god then why are you even in this discussion? Why don't you start a forum for all of you flying acrobats where you can all brag about your flawless jumping skills? But you want to poach a discussion that isn't suited for your beautiful, awe-inspiring flight skills. Here's an idea for the topic name: "We are the best jumpers in Destiny. Discuss our feats and prowess in the air" ... I wouldn't comment in there so you can talk to all of your fellow winged wonders free of us puny mortals. Fly away Icarus!

Edited by Jonesy: 10/29/2014 9:24:35 PMThe OP for the Jumping puzzle merely said it was hard. You complained saying it was unfairly designed for titans. I'm simply saying deal with it, stop with the whining. You keep coming back with blatant insults and being extremely defensive. Hmm, I wonder who the childish one here is.
-
Your the one that keeps having the last word with yet another comment about "whining or bitching". That is the most overused two words in here. And I'm not going to get into maturity level. Especially given the quality of a lot of the comments in here. My age maturity are above the average comment on here. Anyone tends to get defensive when someone blatantly posts a reply that has obvious, sarcastic or underlying attacks and insults no matter how you may word it. I just have a tendency to stand up for myself when someone is pushing it.

That's hilarious! You gave me a good chuckle. I was thinking of where you were going with your post while reading and thought "maybe Atheon is just frustrated and needs a good therapy session" . Or maybe he has a splinter and just needs some help and a band aid. I remember when I reached the jumping puzzle and wondered what this had to do with fighting through a raid.

YOU KNOW WHO ELSE IS LEVEL 30?!? MY MOM!!!

If u have titan put on striker. The striker exotic helm and super towards the wall and you land on the ledge...warlock can just glide all the way there a hunter can blade dance all the way through...no stepping on blocks needed

LOL!
-
Scrub? Lol its faster easier.yea okay sure.
Scrub? Lol its faster easier.yea okay sure.
I get it and I'm with you... I do the same thing... glide across from lower right hand ledge if Warlock and Bladedance across if Hunter. My point is just that there are some people on this thread that seem to think using one of your abilities to circumvent some part of the process makes you a bad player... really I don't get it.
-
I got vex everytime I beat it on hard I DON'T LIKE OR WANT IT, I just want raid head
-
I'll trade you one of my four helmets. Oh. Wait....
-
I had 6 helms, 7 sparrows, 6 ships and no vex.
-
The jumping puzzle is pretty easy. Get a checkpoint there and practice. Warlock and Hunter can both skip the blocks entirely. Titan can jump straight onto the fourth if timed right then onto the ledge.
-
I was being sarcastic about dying on the jumping puzzle. It's just funny being at the door and watching people fall to their deaths cuz they can't jump.
-
Ah, it's hard to tell! Been in that situation many a time. Funny to begin with but eventually you're just thinking, "Really!?"
