This is why I hate The Nightfall...
This week, i solo'd the nexus nightfall. It was not too bad and I felt I would get rewarded greatly for this accomplishment. Nope. Got exactly the same Legendary rocket Launcher as I got last week. Are you kidding me?! Not even an ok legendary primary or something? I would probably be happy with strange coins or even ascendant materials. This is only the second time i have tried the nightfall and i happened to get the same launcher twice.
Now that my small rant is over, i would like to pose a question:
[b]What did you get from the nightfall? If you have not, what are you hoping for?[/b]

Haven't gotten a chance with the Nightfall this week, but good news! After leveling up my crucible I recieved leg. gauntlets (for my class), leg. cloak, strange coin, mote of light, blue engram that turned into a leg. shotgun, and the crucible missive. Easily the best non-exotic drop I've ever gotten (more useful than some exotics). It's a Christmas miracle! Now if those darn Minotaurs would stop killing me at the boss...

During the Will of Crota Nightfall, I got Young Ahamkaras spine 2.0, the the Dead Orbit LMG on my Titan and my second hunter. The next week I got 9 coins on my main hunter and on my second hunter. Never had time to do it on my Titan.

Why do you solo the nightfall? It's much easier and quicker to do it with a fireteam, and it's very easy to find a fireteam on various matchmaking websites. I can understand soloing these if you're trying to prove something, or if you live for the challenge, or if you're a streamer who draws an audience for crazy feats of skill, but if you're just doing it for the loot, find a fireteam.

8 RepliesWell, this is the worst unlucky week for me. Crota 1 : 2 shards, 1 emblem. Crota 2 : 2 energies, 1 shader. Crota 3 : 2 shards. And guess my luck in the Nightfalls... Nightfall 1 : Red hand Nightfall 2 : Vanquisher VIII Nightfall 3 : 9 strange coins. Did Atheon 2 times this week guess my loot... Atheon 1 : Voc, sparrow Atheon 2 : shards, sparrow, class item for my hunter ...Dismantle everything... I would like to thanks RNGesus for all this AMAZING gifts before christmas... NOT!

Legendary machine gun. Some guy got 20 energy and the other got some random exotic that I wasn't paying attention to. It was one of the new DLC ones because I saw the little 'I' next to it.

Nothing. Just before me and my teammates killed the nexus, my xbox shut off. I was able to get back quickly enough but guess what. The game wouldn't let me rejoin them. Went through all that trouble to get a big FU from life.

I got a legendary engram that became two shards. Second time in three weeks on my only character. About a month ago I got exotics three weeks in a row, after the third one I had a feeling I was going to go through a dry spell and I certainly did lol. RNG always evens out in the end if you play enough.
