I took my controller back to the shop that sold me the ps4 and they just gave me a new controller - the latest controller is higher quality with better rubber. Job done!

Yeah I've bought 2 controllers since the release and I can tell a difference, but even that is smoothing down. I'm a hardcore gamer so I feel aftermarket materials are necessary. Plus I'm looking for ways to personalize my stuff. I really like the aluminum sticks, but...ya know...its aluminum. Doesn't really solve my problem.
