Thorn doesn't need a buff at all in my opinion. It's the only handcannon, that I know, with a dot built into it. Buff it and you run the risk of it being just too much. If you want to play with other handcannons go for it. That's intended for bungie by the way.

Correction: it's the only [u]weapon[/u] with a dot upgrade

The DoT only applies on the first hit, not any of the subsequent hits. It's one of my biggest problems with the gun aside from the reload speed.

Just increase the magazine to 12. That would make it more viable

It does 400 less precision damage than most legendary hand cannons, plus with the six round clip and slow reload speed isn't really helping. nor is the extra 30-40 dps you get from the "poison"

I only have Lord High Fixer to compare it to and right now I'm still working on leveling it up. I'm no pro at weapon damage, knowing it and all, but I assumed from personal experience that it was fine. The reload thing I'll agree with you on.

Haven't touched the raid yet. Little brother is in the military and I'm trying to do it with him, Destiny is how we spend time together since we're on opposite ends of the country.
