Anyone else getting Baboon'd Lately?
Since I think Thursday, I've been getting a ton of Baboon Errors. The error note states; [quote][b]This error commonly happens when players are connecting to the world of Destiny via cell phone tethering or mobile hotspots. While we appreciate your moxie and verve for playing Destiny over your mobile connection, we can’t promise a smooth experience while using this type of network setup.[/b][/quote] Now I don't understand why this is, because I've been getting it while playing on my 360. Is there some other cause for the error? Or is it a (reoccurring) hiccup on the server side?

1 ReplyI solo'd the weekly on 28. Got to the archon priest annnnnd baboon'd! I have a 20mbs connection with all cisco hardware. NOT A MOBILE HOTSPOT duchebags. Fix the problems and STOP BLAMING US.

1 ReplyOmg yes. Please someone explain this error to us. The more I've played, the more frequent the errors. Baboons have appeared much more often since the last two updates. The first patch brought elk and this one had an anteater. I had to quit playing as I couldn't last 2minutes without being kicked. Really disappointed I can't play

Babooned all weekend...and 3 times just now got kicked out with Baboon and Coconut. So frustrated. I had to stop playing over the weekend and I am stopping now. It sucks the fun right out of the game.

I see everyone posted these in October. It's now the second week in November and I've recently come to find this baboon people talk about. 5 times in the raid last night and I missed the Oracle give away. Wtf bungie I am also not tied to a cellphone hotspot. No problems until recently

It's been real bad on PS4 side also. Mostly getting [i]bee[/i] and [i]flat worm[/i] though.

I am also getting the error every 30 minutes to an hour. I was probably about 5 minutes from beating an hour long solo of the nightfall when it dropped out yesterday. If it had happened the day I was trying to farm coins for the Suros Regime I probably woulda smashed something.
