As far as I am aware you can only receive chest loot ONCE a week but you can get loot from bosses TWICE a week with each character you own. You must remember that if you do hard mode first and you complete it with collecting loot from both chests and bosses you won't receive anything from doing it on normal mode after because you have essentially received rewards from both modes. You need to do normal mode and then hard mode. I have the companion app too, I have done it on normal so the first 4 bars are yellow/completed and the other 4 bars below are not yellow/completed so when I have done it on hard they will turn yellow/completed. It's confusing to explain, not sure if i have done a good job but hey ho :)

Im more than certain you can receive loot from bosses twice as long as you do normal first and the hard one AFTER. But you won't receive chest loot more than once. I heard that one of the chests give you loot twice but I can't personally verify this for you. If you ever need to do raid on normal Id be happy to help. I need to do it on hard with my 29 hunter but no one I joined can do it. If your on PS4 my PSN is josh8426yoshi
