Well since we've dug up this corpse. Convert to current discussion of recent and upcoming episodes. Personally I refuse to watch anymore of it because it's so far off canon of ANY batman series or comics. Plus with the age differences between many of the villans and Bruce in the series; it would put them way (a decade or two) older than Bats. I like the idea...just think they got carried away with creative intent.

I'm aware of the premise. *see reply to own comment* Just not interested in a total reboot of a side character. I also belive it is more focused on Gotham's dive into darkness and its villans. This Gordon is merely the white knight. We know Gordon never succeeds at ending the crime sprees and Gotham is eventually taken over by the mob. There'd be no need for Batman otherwise. And I understand...it's not about Batman...Honestly Batman is only as good as his villans. So that's not a factor to me. It's just that I'm lost to how far they strayed in some aspects. Not a fan, but it was mostly enjoyable to say the most of what I watched.

Yeah, I saw the comment after I posted. I do agree, it is pretty good so far. Episode one answered a lot of questions from the batman movies.

Let me add, it is a great show in it's own...if you know little or none of gothams history or villans you'll most definitely love the crime drama aspect of the show. The actors are decent and the writing is well done.
