[Khvostov Protest Movement]
I know I am not the only one who's tired of nerfs and rebalancing based solely upon PvP tears. So I propose we bring forth the Khvostov starter rifle to the Crucible.
You cannot nerf what was born nerfed. We use these ancient rifles to cause more PvP tears, as a means to tell Bungie to keep PvP balancing [i]in PvP only[/i].

1 ReplyI was thinking that I'd be awesome to have an exotic version of this weapon; when the weapon fires it sounds like it packs a wallop and feels like a true AR. If they ever do implement an exotic/legendary variant of this weapon, it should be called the Khvostov 7S-117(for those of you who play halo, you'll understand what those numbers mean).

Stability and Fire rate make it a difficult weapon to use in Crucible. I've tried to use it, but it cannot contend with it's counter parts.

I used it in crucible but it doesn't have special buffs so it isn't that good

I mainly play PvP over PvE and yes, outside of Iron Banner, I use the Khvostov fairly regularly. It's a great fun to fall back on. It always feels so fresh, light and simple to use and most of all it's a great feeling when you kill some SUROS user with the "[i]worst[/i]" gun in the game. [spoiler]it's not actually the worst gun in the game.[/spoiler]

You know, this is actually a great idea But people care too much about winning... it'll never take off. If we could pull this off, it would be possibly the greatest protest in gaming history. But it won't happen.

I have a 30 hunter and then a 29 hunter and a 28 warlock, now would it really be worth it to take my gear off my 29 hunter and then delete it, remake the hunter just to get this gun and then put gear all back on.... Just for this gun I've been hearing that this gun is really amazing and I want to know if it actually worth it because I wanted to keep it but I got rid of it because I didn't think to much of it now I'm lost

I use this auto rifle a lot, just because. I also fly the starter ship usually. And wear the starter armor. No one expects to be killed by a shitty looking Warlock.

This honestly is such a cool looking gun. I remember loving the look and feel when I started the game being very excited. All the other guns look too much alike.

2 RepliesShould a playlist be made that has loadouts instead of whatever weapons? Kinda like reach? That would eliminate half the chaos caused by Xur when he sells an exotic, pvp would be a bit more balanced, and then these rare crucible variant guns can be more of use

Dude have you actually used the Khvostov? It's amazing. I've been using it for a long time now. Its fire rate is right in the butter zone.

It should be the only gun allowed in the Crucible and it should get clean up and recolor via the Gunsmith.
