the intro to the story is the same for every character, but realistically only makes sense for the Exo race
by this logic, where a ghost can resurrect a completely dead skeleton human (([i]when they show skeletal remains in the game[/i]))) couldn't they just dispatch a ghost revival team and bring all the killed humans back to life?

Nope....the Ghost only bring back the bravest warriors. Not all those skeletons are brave warriors. The lack of story is making people over think things.

That is one of the many dangerous questions concerning Ghosts. Because the Traveler created the Ghosts and it's comatose, it's possible there are a limited number of Ghosts.

Another possibility is our DNA was cloned from the original astronauts who met the traveler and that DNA was encoded into humans and programmed into exos during the golden age, and post collapse the awoken are modified humans.

No. Awoken were modified by some event in Deep Space as they fled the Darkness DURING the collapse.
