However, there's no evidence to prove him false, either. Bungie hasn't exactly been transparent, and I'm not going to take Deej's word that 404Architect was a troll if they can't prove it.
Bungie's backed themselves into a corner. They can't prove Architect wrong without actually being honest, and people will get mad if they don't clarify anything.

Bungie did speak. DeeJ spoke for Bungie. Whether or not they were telling the truth is completely speculation, but you can't bring up information that is neither true or false and talk like its fact.

You're right, of course. I guess my point was that this entire game and the development surrounding it sits in an unpleasant grey area.
