When ever I see people that get crazy like that on forums I think the same thing. That and it reminds me of the movie Jake and Silent Bob Strikes Back. At the end of the movie they take a list of all the people that flamed their movie online in a forum and beat them up.

I (sort of) did something like that. People who I knew of in my area I went around and "took care" of some matters of honor.
