No, from a designing look and also from a look of a former product manager for mmos I can say those things NEED to be capped. The problem, without those caps is simple: People would have everything after around 5-6 days, at max. Hardcoreplayers after 2 days. The game, no matter how big, would be instantly sucked dry and then be abandoned. You need some caps, that players need to revisit stuff and redo stuff so it keeps them tied to the game.

  • This wouldn't be an issue if people already didn't hit the level 30 cap within a week of when Destiny came out in the first place. Like I mentioned with a previous poster, having a game that is based mainly luck, can cause this issue. Others that were lucky, were able to get the stuff they needed to feel like they've progressed in such a way that pleases them. Which is great. I know what I need to progress forward, but the obvious ways to get those things stop after playing them even one time (until it resets the following week). Maybe if they were lessened the second time through? I don't have the perfect answer. The issue though is there were people who did get everything within 5-6 days. I haven't been that lucky, so I just want to feel like I can strategize without the game itself telling me no. That being the case, I just stop playing and move on to other games. Personally I'd rather not do that, because I do enjoy Destiny. One person suggested a store that would sell more stuff that people would need for upgrades. I thought that was an interesting idea.

  • The first level 30s just did a simple but stressy trick. They made 3 times the same class. Thus 3 times a week the chance of 3 times vault (6 times if you do hard and easy instead of directly hard) and with that 3 times the chance on every boss/chest to get armor for your class. That's all.Since those are only class bound and not char bound you can give all stuff to ONE char and then when he is 30 you delete the 2 extras. But it still keeps for normal players. You need to block instant achieving of everything instantly.
