I have a little brother that I see once a year when he comes up to visit. He is 11. I am probably one of the most competitive people you will ever meet. When I was little and played a game with my dad or uncle, they kicked my ass. If I beat him in a game, he'll cry and pout. As the big brother, I just let him pout and continue playing. If you cater to every cry baby there is, they will just learn that if they want to get their way, just cry and eventually they'll get what they want. Hell, that's why we can't spank our children in public now, the world of gaming and reality is just a giant shitstorm of who can cry the loudest.
