By the way op, the thorn gets a lot better upon upgrading, I have all a fully upgraded thorn (no energy upgrades) and a fully upgraded the devil you know with energy. The thorn is just slightly behind it, without any energy upgrades. Once you get the recoil control and get the feel for the gun, it's awesome. Can't wait for the buff to make it even better.

Agreed. I just unlocked the Mark of the Devourer perk and that's what really sets Thorn apart. The damage over time combined with penetrating rounds is amazing. The only thing I wish was better is the magazine size. If it held 9-11 rounds then I wouldn't even complain about reload time.

Thorn is terrible in comparison to The Devil You Know, the reload speed and small 6 round clip make it awful
