Okay guys. Which game requires the most skill to be good at. Let's be honest.
I personally think BF4 is one of the hardest multiplayer game to be good at. It took me quite a few months to play where I would start getting in the top 3 every match. What do you guys think takes the most skill to be good at.
Drop some comments below on why you think ____ game takes the most skill!

3 RepliesEdited by matt: 10/13/2014 2:03:07 AMi personally believe halo and destiny require skill. destiny and halo require a player to pump rounds into someone until they drop. where as in bullshit of duty, nothing but people cheating in glitches and campers. the makers of COD are making the same game from COD 2 over and over again with no improvement in anything not game engine or graphics. at least gears of war and halo and i can assume destiny will always try to shoot for making games that are a step up from the previous game. COD hasn't done anything their just a push over franchise with push over graphics compared to what companies are trying to do now and the COD franchise should be treated as a push over. more and more people are getting completely disappointed in COD, at least the people that I've played with and met online. hell even gears of war online required skill man. and that shit can get real hectic real quick. destiny for me took some time to get a feel for only because of the map layoust. it was insane for me but now I'm placing up in the top two or three continuously. same thing with all the halo games, which revolutionized the FPS games by the way, took some skill to get good at because the games were always changing as they developed. halo 2 will always be the best halo game out there, at least until i see halo 5 guardians

3 RepliesEdited by Fawkzi: 10/12/2014 6:55:05 PMHalo, put simply..it had more skill based gametypes, more specifically "Team BR's" everybody on an equal playing field. (i'm talking H3 and H2 specifically) You didn't have perks, traits, loadouts or any unfair advantage over the people you entered in to a match with, What separated you from everybody else was your skill with the weapons they gave you but your skill didn't just stop there either, you had to be skilled in navigating the map, controlling the power weapons, be a strategist as well as being good with the weapons. What it came down to was this. Map Control Power Weapon control Power up Control Skill with the weapons you were "Given" Strafing actually mattered, being alert actually mattered, camping was 99% useless. I honestly have no idea how anybody could even vote something over Halo multiplayer when it comes to skill (again H2-H3 only) All the other ones mentioned you get to pick your load outs, most likely choosing the current trending, over powered weapons (Just like here in Destiny actually) People more often that not customized their load outs to be OP. you didn't get to do that in Halo, at all. even in game types where the BR wasn't the default, if you were good and knew what you were doing you dropped the default weapon and picked up the BR in the first few seconds of the game. Before anybody starts calling me an "xbox Fanboy" please note that i do not own an xbox anymore, I sold my 360 and used the money to purchase a PS4 and not only that, when i did own my Xbox 360 i owned a PS3 a long side it, I am no fan boy of either consol, i always aim to own both because they have been been amazing in their own ways.

Nothing from above. Counter strike is the game where u can play competitive only. Best netcode best balance. Nothing comes close to it in fps games

3 RepliesOmggggg. I hate battlefield players. Why? Cause all you -blam!-s make sure that everyone knows you play battlefield. And how much skill it takes to Handle a controller. And how much better blah blah blah blah.... Blah.

Dude all those games you listed require the least amount of skill to play and get kills in PvP. The games that require skill to do good in are games like Quake and Doom because they are straight twitch shooters and usually end up who ever shoots first wins. The rest ar all run and gun shooters and require little to no skill to do good in them. Also include Dust 514 it the group with Quake and Doom.

And ghost recon. The original 2.

Killzone. That game takes top skill.

9 RepliesUnreal Tournament required more skill than all those :p

7 RepliesThe real pros play CS. Even your average joe in CS would shit on any 'good' destiny/cod/halo player. Do i play CS? No. But i do know that people who do, know what's up

The only skill I see in games is maybe counter strike

All the people who think halo took no skill obviously never did a LASO challenge in their life.

Edited by Doc SoCal: 10/12/2014 5:25:42 PMBF requires a squad of players communicating to succeed consistently. I don't consider that more skill, just a little more dedication which is why I enjoy the BF series. It is by far the most difficult to get really good at of all of those tiles. It is not "new user" friendly at all but once over the hump of getting killed before you even see anyone, you get into a groove. Fundamentally FPS games are FPS games, it is just a matter of adapting to strategies that compliment the battle ahead, arcade style or simulated. Being able to play all of them while making these adjustments and not falling into fanboy traps is what takes the most skill...
