the REAL skilled players
Okay guys. Which game requires the most skill to be good at. Let's be honest.
I personally think BF4 is one of the hardest multiplayer game to be good at. It took me quite a few months to play where I would start getting in the top 3 every match. What do you guys think takes the most skill to be good at.
Drop some comments below on why you think ____ game takes the most skill!

2 RepliesTribes on PC was amazing, you had to calculate aim, dodge and wait for boots to come back up. Was the best game I ever played. "Disc thrower few, light armor".

This is why I only play skirmish. Control is nothing but explosions at point B and a lot of the players are unskilled. But in all reality play a game like dishonored with no hud on master difficulty. or play games like LoL or Dota 2. or beat the last of us on survivor difficulty with no hud. Counterstrike is a good example of a high skillcap game too. As far as CoD/BF go. You die in 2-3 bullets no matter what gun it's basically whoever sees the other person first wins. Destiny and Halo are definitely much higher on the skill cap. For those of us who beat the hard mode raid 100% with no cheeses, we know Destiny takes skill. And the PvP is much more tactical than Cod/BF. Those are games that take skill to play.

9 RepliesConsole fan boy, trying to post the most bias thing in the world. Best fps? Counter strike. Haven't played it? Then don't even post up this ridiculous thing gai boi. I've played 20+ fps games from all platforms. The most skill and team oriented is counter strike. End of thread. Stupid kid console fan boi gai boi.

Agreed, especially helo pilots which I do. I commend the jet pilots I just crash and burn every time. That's skill.

Skill comes in many forms. I like to think of myself as an all around gamer, pretty good at any game once I know what im doing. Diff games take different skills and tactics.

Halo needs skill, you need to have good aim and a good strat. You need to spend your time devolping skill. I fine that I'm good at other games because of halo. Destiny is easy, battle field was easy, call of duty was easy. I just used what I learned from halo into other games. Halo just helped with my aim and strata for other games. Made me think more about what I was doing in the game. Other than just running in. But all games take skill and I can't say which one takes the most skill. But just to say that the all do.

Nearly any FPS based off of Half Life. This goes for Counter Strike and all of its variants. Anyone can play them, but there is a massive gap between the best and everyone else. More of a gap than any other game I have ever played since 1993 when I started gaming.

Really, haven't seen one lately that isn't buffed in some way. Auto-aiming is like a must today if you want the casuals to arrive, if not, only te core players stays because is too hard/boring for casuals not being "good player" and quit quickly. Others factors are many games are copy paste from other, this could be not bad if the copy/paste included an upgrade, but when one game gets a 'new' feature, every next game in the genre get it the same exactly way, and I mean every game, you see this in killcam, loadouts, perks, etc. If you want a recent real skill game, I doubt it exists one. If you want the old school well, you get that answer already in the thread. Now days is matter of likes and tastes.

Cod is big on competitive mainly due to the tactics used. Its very team oriented and u need map awareness to pull of the big wins, of course the quick twitch reflexes are also a must but its more about knowing whats going on at all times on maps Halo was a competitive game through & through :o destiny introduced far too many noob friendly features though ._. Most noobs get kills unnervingly like the c4 and ieds in cod games (free supers, certain grenades, etc) Destiny has a great pace in gameplay for pvp, but there are still major issues that keep it from its potential :T fix the lag comp plz... Unreal tournament! Nuff said lol very awesome & addicting game.
