the REAL skilled players
Okay guys. Which game requires the most skill to be good at. Let's be honest.
I personally think BF4 is one of the hardest multiplayer game to be good at. It took me quite a few months to play where I would start getting in the top 3 every match. What do you guys think takes the most skill to be good at.

Each of these games have their own flavor, their own style you have to adapt to. You can be an absolute boss, mowing down everything in front of you in CoD and land flat on your face in Battlefield, or vice versa. It's like trying to compare Video Games and Movies. They're just incompatible cause of how they work.

9 RepliesDust 514. Brutal. Challenging. Engaging. Had people coming from COD and Battlefield thinking their rush and attack tactics would work. Oh how the tears flowed on the forums. You had to use your brain in Dust, you had to coordinate. Nope, COD players were beaten into a brutal bloody pulp. Many controllers lost their lives in Dust 514. Had vet players already skilled in prototype suits eradicating you in seconds while you jogged around in miltia suits. Game took a certain amount of patience. Yea...none of those games compare to Dust 514 as far as skill. Had sniper rifles that would drive those quick scopers insane. Combat Rifles that made you forget what you were about to do. Laser Rifles that melted butter on toast. Miss those days. Dust 514 will always be a good memory for me. I never played such a challenging FPS game on a console like Dust. I'm serious, it either made you or broke you. You couldn't take your skills from COD/BF and bring it into Dust, like you could bring your skills from Dust into COD/BF. And people thought they were aiming gods! Ha! Dust 514 made you question your aiming skills.

If we are talking pure gun/ gaming skill, Rainbow Six Vegas. People who go from Rainbow to COD, shred. People who come from COD to Rainbow struggle. There is a reason for that. People are not used to tactical gaming in the COD world...

Hands down Halo. I love Bungie....but it is hard to deny that Halo defined a generation. A real pioneer in console gaming. The kill time was balanced. Balanced starts. 4 shots. boom. All with tracking your opponent and getting a headsdhot at the end. Anyone who says CoD or BF is kind of kidding themselves.... I mean really... Shotguns....snipe starts....SMGs that you can snipe with. ( I am looking at you MP7 from MW3) Halo. Hands down.

Also none of those games take skill anymore. I used to be an avid cod fan. But they lost me with Ghost.

To be completely honest Toejam and Earl on Sega genisis, The toy story game, and Aladin. Those games were rage fest hard. Just saying.

The muscle memory to be good in FPS just means you played alot. Some require a small amount of strategy Most action games are the same I vote Madden. Its at least 50% strategy

Oh man halo 3 and below we're amazing. After that it sort of turned into call of halo. I remember when it took consistent wins to lvl up not some shitty exp gain. Skill lvl: Halo 3 CoD 4 Battlefield. Hello Kitty Island Adventure Fapping Every other CoD
