Exotic Engrams
I have been 29 for quite a while now and it appears it is going to stay that way.
I completed the raid on hard twice, only to be rewarded with duplicate items repeatedly. I then decided, maybe an exotic engram will get me that helmet I need to hit 30. So I bought 2.
Both were the -blam!-ing insurmountable Skullfort.
Out of everything, the stupid disco helmet twice.
Wow.
So done.

I got an exotic helmet in a blue engram today. Sadly not as good as the exotic helmet I bought off Xur last week.

I bought the titan striker helm from xur, then bought the engram and got the defender one. Lucky me.

1 Replyrandom is random. if you are getting frustrated on one character level another. that is what i am doing anyway. you should have known that you had a 33% chance each time you went for a helmet of your class to get it. that is far from a guarantee. all of that being said, i feel for you.

The random class system is sad to be honest If you want something for a Hunter, you'd probably need to buy it with either a Warlock or a Titan based off of the bad luck everyone is getting

I've gotten like 4 of the same warlock helmets now from a exotic engram, and 1 titan. pretty sad because i have 3 hunters.

Too bad im a hunter , i kind of feel like they are trying to force me to make a 2nd character... I know its all random with the engrams but seriously I shouldn't get every exotic helmet in the game that isn't for Hunters

I got lucky. Bought an exotic engrams last week and got Light Beyond Nemesis helmet for my warlock. Not sure if I am gonna roll the dice again this week.

Yes it's stupid how you need the raid gear to get to level 30. Once you have done that what then?
